Entertainment & Cultural Formats
Music videos, artist collaborations and cultural moments — commercial production meets artistic ambition.
Music videos, cultural activations, artist collaborations, festival content — formats where commercial production discipline has to meet artistic ambition without flattening either. We bring the same visual and technical rigor we apply to brand campaigns, and the same curiosity and co-creation ethic that artists expect.
Bridging brand storytelling and artistic direction, we create content that speaks to both audiences and to culture — collaborating directly with artists, choreographers, musicians, dance companies and curators. Clients range from fashion houses commissioning performance films to music labels, cultural institutions and brand-art partnerships.
Capabilities
Music videos
From narrative to abstract, from CGI-heavy to documentary. Full director-collaboration or in-house direction depending on the artist.
Artist collaborations
Co-creation with visual artists, choreographers, performers. We bring production firepower; the artist leads the vision when they want to.
Cultural activations
Festival content, exhibition media, brand-art partnerships. Design, production and on-site integration.
Live performance design
Stage visuals, projection mapping, real-time performance graphics for concerts, shows and ceremonies.
Documentation & legacy assets
Live capture, archival masters, social cuts and after-film edits that extend a cultural moment well past the event itself.
Process
01
Artistic alignment
Long-form conversations with the artist, label or curator before any production decision. Vision first, deliverables second.
02
Cross-discipline pre-vis
Storyboards, choreography studies, animatic edits — used to align performers, brand, label and crew.
03
Production
Hybrid pipelines that respect artistic intent while hitting commercial deliverables (format cuts, social, documentation masters).
04
Activation & legacy
Live capture, documentation, social cuts, archival masters — the cultural moment lives beyond the night it happens.

Common questions
Do you work with independent artists, not just brands?
Yes — selectively. We've collaborated with artists like Poppy (for Viktor & Rolf) and dance company La Horde (for Alpine). Every cultural project is a fit-by-fit conversation: we need to be the right partner for the vision, not just available.
Who handles creative direction — the artist, the brand, or you?
Usually the artist or their team — we bring production firepower, technical R&D and visual translation skill. Sometimes we co-direct, sometimes we execute faithfully. The model is set at project kickoff so no one is surprised downstream.
Can you handle the music rights and label coordination?
On brand-led projects, we coordinate directly with the artist's label, management and clearances for sync, master and image rights. The brand's legal team usually leads the contract; we run the day-to-day coordination.
What's the right lead time for a music video or cultural moment?
Music videos: typically 6–10 weeks from greenlight to delivery. Festival or event-tied cultural moments depend on the installation complexity — allow 10–16 weeks for anything involving physical builds or multi-venue coordination.
TURBODIESEL collaborates with brands, artists and cultural institutions to produce music videos, performance visuals and cultural-format content. Past collaborators include Viktor & Rolf × Poppy (Flowerbomb Petal Stories), Alpine × La Horde (A290 reveal at Le Mans), ZEvent 2026 content, and YouTube Festival.
If you're a brand looking for a credible cultural production partner, or an artist/label looking for a production team that respects the vision and ships at commercial standards, the brief we need is: who you are, what you're making, and when it has to happen.
